VCI Emitter  (Ref: VCI..)

Chronos VCI Emitters provide protection against corrosion for any at-risk metal items in display cabinets, tool boxes, storage cabinets, gun cases and cabinets and electrical junction boxes. They are also valuable in providing medium and long term protection for components stored in heavy duty polythene bags. The containers do not need to be completely airtight; doors and drawers can be opened and closed periodically without adversely affecting the emitter’s effectiveness.

The powerful active ingredients in VCI Emitters are contained in an aluminium tin, 35mm in diameter and 14mm deep, small enough to be unobtrusive in a wide range of storage and display applications. The VCI Emitter starts to work as soon as the lid is removed and continues to provide protection in a volume of 100 litres or 3 cubic feet for up to two years. In larger cabinets, a number of Emitters should be distributed evenly throughout.
Emitters are supplied with self-adhesive pads for fixing in position.

Restore Rust Remover  (Ref: RRR..)

Restore Rust Remover, is a water-based, non-acidic, non-toxic, biodegradable derusting concentrate. The contents of the 500ml bottle, when mixed with plain tap water makes 10 litres of fluid (approx 2 gallons). Because it does not contain any acids, only the rust is removed, leaving good metal undamaged. (Products that contain phosphoric acid will remove both the rust and a certain amount of good metal which may not be desirable). Because of the absence of acids, there is no danger of flash rusting occurring when parts are removed from the bath. In fact, parts will remain rust free without further protection for a considerable period, allowing plenty of time for painting, chemically blackening, or plating parts or tools. Alternatively, to give longer protection in the ‘bare’, cleaned state, they may be protected with MetalGuard Ultra, GreaseXtra or ToolGuard VCI. The derusting solution may be used over and over again until the solution becomes blackened and the reaction time becomes excessively slow. Because the residue is completely biodegradable the spent solution may be flushed down the drain without harm to the environment. Litre for litre, Restore Rust Remover is the most economical product of its kind currently available. Restore Rust Remover is supplied in 250ml and 500ml bottles

Restore Rust Remover Gel  (Ref: RRG...)

Restore Rust Remover Gel has been developed to derust larger bulky/heavy items which would be difficult or impossible to derust in a tank of Restore Rust Remover. Typical uses include vehicle bodywork, motorcycle tanks and mudguards, machine tool tables and beds, larger woodworking tools etc. Like Restore Rust Remover, it does not contain acids and therefore flash rusting is not a problem. Application is by means of a scouring pad (not supplied) which is moved gently over the surface until the rust is removed and the surface is left bright and clean. It is extremely fast working, in many cases the cleaning process taking no more than a few minutes.
