This is one of the lowest melting point alloys and is widely used by model engineers for many years. It has excellent flow characteristics and mechanical properties. Sold in Single Sticks of silver solder 1.5mm dia x 500mm long. This is a 42% silver, cadmium bearing alloy. Melting Range 610 - 620° C Conforms to BS EN 1044 AG 303 Silver SolderContrary to the story circulated by some suppliers of silver solder, cadmium bearing alloys are not in short supply. Nor are they banned.
A general purpose flux with good fluxing activity and moderate time temperature stability. Suitable for hot rodding. Working range 550 - 800'C. 250 G
