METHOD OF USE

WIRING UP
Use Steel Wire

Tank
Degrease the parts by immersing them in the degreasing soultion as per the instructions . To achieve the best results use only the recommended degreaser. After degreasing rinse clean in water . The parts should not have any water bubbles on the surface , which would mean a greasy spot chasing the water away. The appearance should be of a smooth surface. After degreasing avoid touching the parts with bare hands as any finger marks will spoil the finished product.

Optional Stage
To improve the finish a dip in an acid bath is recommended . A diluted mineral acid such as Sulphiric or Hydrochloric is ideal. Even more effiecient and readily available is a solution of Dry Acids Pickling salts .

Blacking
Immerse the degreased parts into the hot blacking solution. Avoid splashing , Remove when the finish is satisfctory . Rinse in water and immerse in the undiluted DEWATERING OIL supplied with the kit or apply with a brush.
Allow to dry and wipe off any excess gently with a soft cloth.
