This heavy duty flexible drive shaft unit is powered by a 150W continuously rated motor. The speed is variable over a range of 0-14,000rpm and is controlled by means of a convenient foot pedal. The 970mm long flexible shaft screws firmly onto the base of the motor and carries a plug-in bayonet on the other end for connection to the two supplied handpieces (4mm Drill head and Carving head supplied with 5 chisels). Between these standard supplied handpieces, it enables the 'Flexi-Grind' unit to be used for a complete range of drilling, grinding, sanding, engraving, polishing operations and wood carving.
