Having a rotatable jaw makes this vice a very useful back-up to a conventional drill press vice. Awkwardly shaped pieces can be held securely. It may not be used as often, but the price is not unreasonable. -

Great value Firstly, I'll say that the vice I received wasn't EXACTLY like the photo. They've changed the design of the "positional bar" in the handle to a chunky bar that doesn't stay in the knurled grip. For the money, this is a VERY well made vice with supersmooth precision ground machined surfaces. Top mark Bob - Hinckley
