Vertex BS1 Dividing Head

The Vertex BS1 dividing head comprises of head stock, tail stock, set 3 dividing plates and chuck back plate. The spindle noses are threaded for a chuck. Both the phosphor bronze worm and the spindle are hardened and ground. The head can divide in any angle by the direct, indirect or differential methods. Ratio between the work and the worm gear is 40:1. A 24 hole plate is also fitted for quick indexing of simple numbers. The spindle is rigidly held in a taper roller bearing and the swivel head can be locked at any angle from -10-90′. Supplied complete with test certificate Centre height is 128 mm.
