This frame is exceptionally rigid and well balanced with a comfortable hardwood handle. The design of the bow allows the blade to be tensioned as it is clamped in the frame. A firm grip is maintained on the blade by hardened & serrated clamps operated by screws & wingnuts. The fretsaw is used to cut thin sheet materials with the saw teeth set to face the handle and working on the pull stroke. A pack of thirty popular blades is available.
