How to use ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate
ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate makes the water in your water-cooled sharpening system corrosion inhibitant. It’s used when wet sharpening with any of Tormek’s diamond grinding wheels. You can also use it with a grindstone without problems, so you don’t have to discard it if you want to switch from a diamond grinding wheel to a grindstone, and then back again. Then you’ll still have corrosion inhibiting water when you return to your diamond grinding wheel.

Add 10 ml (0.02 pints) of concentrate to 250 ml (0.4 pints) of water (~4%). The bottles come with a measuring scale for easy dosing. Mix the concentrate and water, then pour into the water tray. If you want to save the mixture overnight, remember to always lower or remove the water tray so that your grinding wheel doesn’t sit in the water more than necessary. ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate doesn’t contain antifreeze.
