This Video was kindly sent in to us by one of our customers. It shows the Glanze Clamp Type Indexable Parting Tool and Right Handed Turning tool in use on a lathe similar to the Clarke CL300M Variable speed lathe- sometimes also known as the 7 x 10 Mini Lathe.
Parting
New and Exclusive to Chronos !! – These top quality parting tools are manufactured to high tolerances by Glanze. The Shank is mounted on the side of the tool and is only 8mm Square and the whole unit is only 66mm long. SO IT IS IDEAL FOR THE SMALL VARIABLE SPEED MINI LATHES – CLARKE ,WARCO , CHESTER ETC PLUS MANY OTHER LARGER MACHINES – The 2 mm Parting Insert that is included with this tool is a special grade and is coated with Alumina. After this it undergoes a special treatment to reduce the roughness on the coating. The insert is held securely to a specially made steel blade which is double ended. The tool comes complete with one insert and others are readily available. This tool is available in 8 , 10 , 12 , 16 , 20 & 25mm Shanks

Positive tipset complete with indexable insert. these tools are excellent quality and come complete with insert and torx key. The tips are among the best available and vastly improved compared to many other brands (see below) The screws are Swiss – often the weak link on inferior tools!!.
